Scenic spot introduction:

The Ryukyu Hall was a post building used by Fuzhou from the Ming Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty to receive guests and businessmen from the Ryukyu Kingdom paying tribute to China. In the Ming Dynasty, the official full name was "Tribute Factory Rouyuan Station", and it was also known as the Ryukyu Hall among the people. Located in Guanhou Street, Taijiang District, Fuzhou City, it was first built in the eighth year of Chenghua (1472) in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the sixth year of Kangxi (1667) in the Qing Dynasty. It was overhauled in Jiaqing and Tongzhi dynasties. After China and Ryukyu severed diplomatic relations in 1876, its function as a tribute embassy post disappeared, and its building area was gradually eroded and destroyed. Now only a two-story wooden structure remains. In 1992, it was completed and overhauled and turned into the "History Museum of Fuzhou's Foreign Friendly Relations" and opened to the outside world.
