Scenic spot introduction:

Wuhou Temple in Mian County, Hanzhong, is the earliest temple built among many Wuhou temples across the country and is the only one built by emperor's order, so it is known as "the best Wuhou Temple in the world". This Wuhou Temple is the largest ancient building complex in southern Shaanxi. It has gone through vicissitudes of life and collapsed several times. It has been repaired by successive dynasties. Therefore, most of the buildings that have been preserved at present maintain the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Because of its long history, there are many ink marks left by famous poets of the past dynasties. There are layers of plaques, numerous steles, and many ancient and famous trees. The entire ancestral temple has towering ancient cypresses, dense branches, subtle fragrance, and elegant environment. It integrates architecture, gardens, sculpture, painting, calligraphy, and literature. It is an important tourist destination in southern Shaanxi.

Attractions distribution:

Hanzhong Wuhou Temple is located on the side of National Highway 108, 3 kilometers west of Mian County, facing Wuhou Tomb across the Han River. Wuhou Temple covers an area of ​​more than 80 acres. The buildings are arranged in a north-south layout, with the palaces arranged in a row. The central axis runs straight through the seven courtyards, and most of the three courtyards are connected in parallel. There are more than 30 ancient buildings with more than 150 rooms, including the Shanmen, Lelou, Archway, Qinlou, Jimen, Worship Hall, Main Hall, Chongsheng Temple, Guanjiang Tower, and East and West Side Halls, with a grand scale. The temple is rich in cultural relics, with 91 inscriptions and 62 plaques (deposits) from various eras since the Han Dynasty, 65 other cultural relics, and 35 ancient and famous trees.

Self-driving route:

1. After arriving at Mian County, follow National Highway 108 to the west for about 5 kilometers to reach the scenic spot.

2. From Hanzhong City, you can reach the scenic spot along the 108 National Highway and about 45 highways.

3. "Shitian Expressway" (G7011) arrives in Mian County, get off the expressway from the "Mian County North" exit, and follow National Highway 108 to the scenic spot.

4. "Xihan Expressway" (G105) reaches Mian County. Get off the expressway from the "Mian County" exit. After arriving at the county seat, follow National Highway 108 to the west for about 5 kilometers to reach the scenic spot.

Peak season (March-November) 60 yuan

Ticket-free policy: Children under 1.2 meters in height are exempt from large tickets; disabled people with disabilities It's free for those over 65 years old with a senior citizen's ID card or ID card; it's free for active military personnel with a military ID card.
