The South China Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the oldest, largest and most species-collecting South Asian tropical botanical garden in my country. The garden has picturesque scenery, evergreen all the year round and a strong tropical atmosphere. It is known as the never-ending "International Tree Expo" and has the reputation of "Emerald of Southern China". Its exhibition greenhouse group scenic area, overlooking from the sky, is like four "kapok flowers" blooming in the beautiful flower city. The South China Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is located in the northeast corner of Guangzhou, the Flower City. It was formerly the Institute of Agricultural and Forestry Botany of National Sun Yat-sen University. It not only provides guarantee for the country's strategic resource reserves, but also is an important place for scientific research, popular science exhibitions and tourism activities.The conservation and display area (plant ex situ conservation area) for exhibition and sightseeing in the botanical garden covers an area of 4,237 mu, with more than 13,000 species (including varieties) of ex situ conservation plants. It has a modern exhibition greenhouse group, a popular science information center, and one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Guangzhou". Longdong Qilin ,as well as Magnolia Garden , Palm Garden , Ginger Garden There are more than 30 specialized gardens, showing the public the diverse ecotypes of plants from around the world, which leave visitors with a deep impression and awe.

How to get there:
Public transportation: Take Guangzhou Bus No. B12, 28, 30, 39, 84, 535, 534, 564 directly (get off at South China Botanical Garden Station); Take Metro Line 3, get off at Tianhe Bus Station, and transfer to the above buses; Take Bus No. 54, 218, 46, get off at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences Station, and walk 800 meters to the west gate of the exhibition area of South China Botanical Garden.
Self-driving tour: From Guangzhou, take the South China Expressway (northbound), exit Yuangang, and go 3 km; take the South China Expressway (southbound), exit Longdong, go 1 km and turn around; take the Ring Expressway (northbound), exit Guangshen, turn around and go 5 km; take the Inner Ring Road and Guangyuan Expressway in the direction of Guangshen Highway.
