Baofeng Temple in Xiqiao Mountain, Foshan has a history of more than 600 years and is one of the four famous temples in southern Guangdong. Baofeng Temple was famous for its Buddhist master Huilian's promotion of Buddhism. The temple was built in the Jiashen year of the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty. Only the broken walls of the original temple remain. The new temple was rebuilt in Shegang, Shipai Village, Xiqiao Mountain, covering an area of 21,600 square meters, and the building was designed in the style of the Ming Dynasty.
