The Huayanxi Scenic Area in Changde is picturesque, with undulating mountains, vast hectares of green tea, waterfalls hanging over the walls, wild deer galloping, clouds, mountains and seas of mist, which is a spectacular sight. It also enjoys the reputation of "China's Hometown of Egrets", "Jiangnan Leisure Resort", "Hunan's West Lake", "Changde's Thousand Islands", "The Kingdom of Watercolor Painting", "The Last Pure Land in the Red Dust", and "The Real Paradise". This scenic spot is located 60 kilometers south of Changde City, adjacent to the Peach Blossom Spring, 50 kilometers away from Changde City, and covers an area of 45 square kilometers.Attractions distribution:
Changde Huayanxi Scenic Area consists of five major scenic areas: the central area, Wuxi Lake, Longfeng Lake, Qifeng Mountain and Xianchi Mountain. How to get there:
Bus: There is no direct bus. You can take a local bus to the scenic spot.
Self-driving: Taoyuan County, Changde City, Hunan Province
1. Go south, 30 meters to Wenchang East Road;
2. Turn right at intersection 1, toward Wenchang Go 160 meters on the east road;
3. Continue forward and go up Wenchang Middle Road for 400 meters;
4. Turn left on Zhangjiang Middle Road for 600 meters;
5. Continue on to Zhangjiang South Road for 2.1 kilometers;
6. Drive 350 meters from Exit 3 of the roundabout;
7. Continue straight to Taoyuan Yuanshui Bridge for 1.3 kilometers;
8. Take Exit 2 of the roundabout and enter the 4.5-kilometer toll section of the ramp of Hangrui Expressway;
9. At the intersection, continue to the right in the direction of Hangrui Expressway and take Hangrui Expressway. The expressway toll section is 71.1 kilometers;
10. Go to the Wuqiangxi Scenic Area/G319/Guanzhuang/Sandushui exit on the left and go to the 700-meter toll section of National Highway 319;
11 . Turn right on National Highway 319 for 7.4 kilometers;
12. Turn right on Township Road 333 for 18.1 kilometers;
13. Turn right on Township Road 335 for 1.0 kilometers to Changde Huayan Creek Scenic spots
