Liuzhou Vietnam's former residence of Ho Chi Minh was built in 1930 as the Nanyang Inn. From September 1943 to September 1944, Ho Chi Minh lived in the inn. During this period, Ho Chi Minh carried out a series of major activities in Liuzhou and made important contributions to Vietnam's national victory.
