Santa Prisca Parish Church (Santa Prisca Parish Church), built in 1751, is a Baroque-style cathedral located in Taxco, about 185 kilometers away from Mexico City. This church can be seen from anywhere in Taxco. The person who funded the construction of the church was Don José, a Spaniard of French descent who became a millionaire by mining silver here. So schools, roads, and houses began to be built locally. Known as the "Father of Taxco".
