Winter clothing and non-slip boots can be rented at the cable car station; it is best to wear sunglasses when going up the mountain to avoid snow blindness caused by admiring the snow scenery for a long time.

How to get there:

Getting there: International railways connect Zurich and Lucerne. Taking the "Zentralbahn" (Central Train) from Lucerne you can reach Engelberg within an hour. Trains run every hour between Zurich and Lucerne. (45 minutes one way) There are trains running every hour between Lucerne and Engelberg.

Self-driving route: Take the A2 highway (Basel-Gotthard), get off the highway at the Stans-Süd exit, and drive 20 kilometers along the year-round main road to Engelberg. The valley station and parking lot of the Titlis cable car are on the right side of town. It is 1.5 hours drive from Zurich, Bern and Basel and 30 minutes drive from Lucerne.

Summer: Engelberg-Titlis round trip 86, one way 61.

Summer pass: 299 for adults, 210 for 16-19 years old, 120 for 6-15 years old.

Winter: Skiing and other activities cost 62/day for adults, 43/day for 16-19 years old, 25/day for 6-15 years old. There are also coupons ranging from 2 to 14 days.

Winter pass: 870 for adults, 700 for those over 64 years old, 610 for 16-19 years old, 350 for 6-15 years old.
