The Kim Il Sung Reading Memorial Room is the residence where Comrade Kim Il Sung, the former Chairman of North Korea, studied and engaged in revolutionary activities. The memorial room is located at the former site of Yuwen Middle School. Its layout is a traditional three-sided courtyard building, with a main room and east and west wing rooms. There is a statue of Kim Il Sung in the courtyard, and there is a cloister connecting it on the east side. The main room is divided into a reading room, the first exhibition room, the second exhibition room and the reception room for foreign guests.
