The Kim Il Sung Reading Memorial Room is the residence where Comrade Kim Il Sung, the former Chairman of North Korea, studied and engaged in revolutionary activities. It is a symbol of the friendship between the people of China and North Korea and a window for the external image of Jilin, China.

Attractions distribution:

The memorial room is located at the former site of Yuwen Middle School. Its layout is a traditional three-sided courtyard building, with a main room and east and west wing rooms. There is a statue of Kim Il Sung in the courtyard, and there is a cloister connecting it on the east side. The main room is divided into a reading room, the first exhibition room, the second exhibition room and the reception room for foreign guests. There are flowers on Kim Il-sung's desk in the reading room, and many precious historical relics are also displayed in the exhibition room. There are not only souvenirs presented by Kim Il-sung, but also a huge oil painting of the morning glow of Mount Paektu. It is not only a revolutionary historical site of the great leader of the Korean people, but also a moral education base in Jilin, China.
