Heihe Yuanhui Historical Exhibition Hall is rated as a national first-class museum. It is the only thematic heritage museum with a comprehensive reflection of the history of eastern Sino-Russian relations as its basic exhibition content. It is one of the first 100 patriotic education demonstration bases in the country and one of the top ten in the country. The boutique museum has been included in the list of national key museums. It is a provincial-level patriotism and national defense education base and the main patriotic education base for young people in Heilongjiang Province. It is located at the residence of the first Heilongjiang General’s Yamen in the Qing Dynasty and where the "Aihui Treaty" between China and Russia was signed in 1858.
