Gaozhou Baoguang Tower is the tallest pavilion-style tower in Guangdong Province. Because there were several large and small Buddha statues enshrined in the pagoda in the old days, it was commonly called "Buddha Pagoda" by the locals. Throughout the ages, Baoguang Pagoda has attracted many tourists to climb the tower to admire it, and many people have written poems and praised it. Climbing high and looking into the distance, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery inside and outside the ancient city of Gaozhou, which makes you feel open-minded and comfortable.

Attractions distribution:

Baoguang Tower is located on the bank of Jianjiang River in Gaozhou City. It is about 63 meters high and is entirely built with blue bricks. There are 24 exquisite granite relief patterns carved on the eight sides of the Xumizuo at the bottom. There are false flat seats on each floor of the tower body, and the tower brake is covered by an iron bell. There are spiral stairs inside the tower for people to climb up and overlook. Not far from Baoguang Pagoda, there is the remains of the migrant workers' residence when the tower was built - Zhoujiazhai, which is a rare Ming Dynasty residential building.
