Tiantangzhai Scenic Area is known as "the last virgin forest in East China" and is one of the "five most beautiful places in Anhui Province". Tiantangzhai was formerly known as "Hengshan" and "Duoyunshan". It was renamed "Tiantangzhai" after the Yuan Dynasty. The total area of the scenic area is 120 square kilometers. There are 25 peaks over 1,000 meters in the area.
