The Rheinfall in Switzerland is the largest waterfall in Europe and the only waterfall on the Rhine River in its 1,300-kilometer course. The Rhine Falls has a huge flow of water and is spectacular, which makes it the most popular object in paintings and articles. The poet Goethe was deeply moved by its charm and visited the Rhine Falls four times.

The annual flow of the waterfall averages about 700 cubic meters per second, making it majestic and powerful. There are two rocks in the center of the waterfall, one of which has stairs for visitors to climb to the top; the surrounding area forms a small lake and has a power plant; there is a town next to it called Neuhausen am Rhein (Neuhausen am Rhein) am Rhein).
