Scenic spot introduction:

Shaoguan Nanxiong Zhuji Lane is the only way to pass through the Meiguan Ancient Road between the north and south of the Wuling Mountains in ancient times. It is an important settlement place for people from the Central Plains to migrate to Lingnan. It is also the birthplace of the residents of the Pearl River Delta and the ancestral home of countless overseas Chinese. Zhuji Ancient Alley still retains its simple style, retaining a number of cultural relics and tourist attractions such as ancient buildings, ancient pagodas, ancient banyan trees and ancient architectural ruins from different dynasties. The style of the ancient town back then is still vaguely discernible. Zhuji Ancient Alley is located in the north of Nanxiong City, about 9 kilometers away from the urban area. The ancient post road passes through the alley, with a total length of 1,500 meters. In the alley, there are three gate towers from the early Qing Dynasty and a noble concubine tower from the Yuan Dynasty. In addition, the biggest attraction here is the ancestral residences and ancestral halls of many surnames, including He, Xie, Zeng, Huang, Zhong, Lai, Liu, etc.
