Guanzhou Liyuan Scenic Area is known as the first pear garden in China and is a delicate and beautiful flower on the "Jiangbei Water City" tourist route. Guanxian Liyuan has a long history. According to historical records, Guanxian Yali has been famous all over the world as early as the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. Walking into the pear garden, century-old trees are scattered all over the garden, creating magnificent natural paintings. In spring, pear blossoms are in full bloom, covered with snow and jade; in summer, the branches are lush and leafy, and the walls are rippled; in autumn, the fruits are abundant, sweet and fragrant; in winter, the branches are graceful, and poetry and paintings are everywhere. Walking on the plank road, people are walking among flowers and fruits are hanging around them, which makes people feel like they are in a fairyland and feel ecstatic.

Guanzhou Liyuan is located in Hanlu Village, Lanwo Township, covering an area of ​​30,000 acres. The scenic area is centered on the "Pear King" with an age of more than 360 years, and includes the Pear Palace, Jieyi Garden, Pear Fairy Garden, Baicao Garden, Family Garden, Guan Garden, Yusu Garden, Auspicious Garden, Health Garden, Gongli Garden, and Forest Entertainment Garden. There are 13 landscape units including Hanlu Temple Ruins, Qunli Huihui Garden, etc., with a 16-meter-high snow viewing platform and a more than 100-meter-long plank road, which can provide an unobstructed view of the entire garden.

How to get there:

Bus route: Take the bus from Liaocheng to Guanxian and get off at the Jiazhen intersection, then take the bus from Guanxian to Lanwo and get off at Liyuan. There is a direct shuttle bus between Liaocheng West Bus Station and the county town every year during the Pear Blossom Festival.

Self-driving route: Jiliao Expressway → Exit at Guanxian East Exit → Turn to Provincial Highway 329 → Go 10 kilometers north of Jia Town to reach the scenic spot.
