Scenic spot introduction:

The Guilin Lijiang Scenic Area has the four unique features of "clear mountains, beautiful waters, strange caves and beautiful rocks", as well as the advantages of "green islands, dangerous beaches, deep pools and flying waterfalls". It is known as "a hundred-mile Lijiang River and a hundred-mile art gallery". The scenic area is centered in Guilin City, starting from Xing'an Lingqu Canal in the north and ending in Yangshuo in the south, connected by the Lijiang River. It is the largest and most beautiful karst landscape tourist area in the world. The mountains on both sides of the Lijiang River are tall and straight, with various shapes, the bamboo forests on the river bank are swaying and graceful, the clear water in the river is lingering, and the reflections of the strange peaks are reflected. Every scene is as beautiful as a painting.
In the traditional sense, the starting point of the Li River is Maoer Mountain in Yuechengling, the source of the Gui River. The modern hydrological definition is Lingqukou in Rongjiang Town, Xing'an County, and the end point is Sanjiangkou in Pingle. Upper Li River The river section is the Dayong River, and the downstream section is the traditionally named Guijiang River. The Lingqu River estuary is the dividing point between the Dayong River section of the Guijiang River and the Lijiang River section, and the Lipu River and Gongcheng River estuaries are the dividing points between the Lijiang River section and the Guijiang River section. The Lijiang River section is 164 kilometers long, and the riverbed along the river is mostly water pebbles, with little sediment, clear water, and karst landforms on both sides.
