Xueyu Cave is a famous karst cave scenic spot in Chongqing. The scenic spot is located in Fengdu County, the ghost town of Chongqing. Its name comes from the stalactites in the cave that are "as white as snow and as pure as jade". The rare animals in the scenic spot are harmoniously integrated with groups of karst caves, winding rivers, cascading waterfalls, cliffs, hanging coffins and other attractions. The surrounding area has a long history of Tujia customs and has formed a unique Longhe culture. It is a boutique among the karst caves in the Longhe Tourist Scenic Area, and also a new wonder on the golden line of Yangtze River tourism in the Three Gorges Reservoir area.Attractions distribution:
The Snow Jade Cave is small and exquisite, with a total length of 1,644 meters. Currently, 1,166 meters of the tour route has been developed. The cave has three floors, divided into six major tour areas: Gathering of Heroes, Heaven on Earth, Step by Step, Northern Scenery, Jade Buildings, and a Bright Future. Among them, there are four world-class wonders: the largest in scale and the largest in number. Tower coral flower cluster (commonly known as the Terracotta Warriors), the second is crystal clear, the thinnest and the longest Stone Flag King , the third is the 4-meter-diameter, clean and clear ice and snow Shield The fourth is the Goose Tube King, which is 2.5 meters long and proud of the snow and frost. Fengdu is a county-level city with very low consumption. A standard room usually costs 20 yuan, and a star-rated hotel costs about 100 yuan. There are hotels and guesthouses around the scenic area, making accommodation convenient.

Recommended tour routes for a one-day tour from Chongqing to Xueyu Cave:
In the morning, drive to Fengdu and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Bayu along the Yangtze River Binjiang Road. Arrive in Fengdu at noon (about 3 hours by car). After lunch, go to Xueyu Cave and visit Xueyu Cave (about 90 minutes). After the visit, you can buy Fengdu Ghost Town Spicy Chicken Nuggets → Xianjia Fermented Tofu and other local specialties. In the afternoon, drive back to Chongqing city.
Best time to visit:
Chongqing has little frost and snow all year round, with lots of fog and clouds, warm winters, hot summers, early springs, short autumns, abundant rainfall, and more rain at night during the transition between summer and autumn. The best time to travel to Chongqing is in spring and winter, with extremely hot summers and heavy rain in autumn.

How to get there:
By bus: Chongqing Chaotianmen Long-distance Bus Terminal leaves for Fengdu every half an hour. After arriving in Fengdu, take the Xueyudong tourist bus directly to the scenic spot. Ticket price: 5 yuan/person.
Self-driving: Chongqing City - Chongqing-Fuling Expressway - Fuling - Fengdu New County - Xueyudong Scenic Area. The total distance from the city to Xueyudong Scenic Area is 185 kilometers.
