Panshan Scenic Area is well-known as the "No. 1 Mountain in Jingdong" in history and is listed as one of the 15 major scenic spots in China. Panshan's ancient names are Wuzhong, Xuwu, Sizheng, and Panlong. According to legend, in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, Tian Chou, a famous scholar in Wuzhong, refused to be rewarded by Emperor Xian and lived in seclusion here, so it is called Tianpanshan, or Panshan for short. The scenic area is located in the northwest of Jixian County, Tianjin, with an area of 106 square kilometers. It is a tourist destination with natural landscapes and historical sites, Buddhist temples and Houjiaxuanlin. Many emperors, generals, and literati competed to travel here in history. Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty visited Panshan 32 times, leaving 1,366 poems praising Panshan, and sighed, "If I had known there was Panshan earlier, why would I go to the south of the Yangtze River?"Religious culture is the highlight of Panshan culture, especially the 72 temples in the Qing Dynasty. Emperor Qianlong's double became a monk in Panshan. Buddhism in Panshan developed to its peak and became one of the important Buddhist holy places in Jingdong and even in the whole country. Panshan was also known as the "Eastern Wutai Mountain". Although most of the buildings no longer exist due to war damage and years of disrepair, some of the ancient buildings in Panshan have been restored and rebuilt today, and have once again become a tourist attraction that attracts worldwide attention with a brand new look.

Line 2: By Fascinating → Tiancheng Temple to Wansong Temple (Also available from Archway Take the Panshan Passenger Cableway to Wansong Temple ) and then hike up to Yunzhao Temple and Guayue Peak (or from Wansong Temple Take the Yunsong Cableway to Yunzhao Temple ) and then go down the mountain. Along the way, you can enjoy the majestic appearance of the Five Peaks → the Three Pans, appreciate the strange rocks and pines, and explore the allusions and legends.
