Qudeng Nyima means "tower and sun". According to legend, when the tower transported from India passed through the mountain pass here, the sun happened to shine on it, so it got such a wonderful name. Quden Nyima Scenic Spot is located in Gangba County, Shigatse Prefecture. According to Tibetan scriptures, in the middle of the eighth century AD, the Indian eminent monk Padmasambhava went to Tibet to spread esoteric Buddhism at the invitation of Tibetan Zanpu Chisong Dezan. He passed through Quden when he returned to India. Nyima, he practiced in the caves at the foot of Qingmuyomqin and Kangqinjiabu Snow Mountains in Gangba County. There was a local shepherd who worshiped him as his teacher. Learned the Tantra. Soon, the Shepherd's Tower, the Shepherd's Tower, and the Tibetan King's Tower were built and named "Doji Quden Nyima", which means Diamond Sun Tower. The mouth of the Qudennima sacred lake is extremely high, reaching an altitude of 5,128 meters. After circulating in the mountain for ten years and seven months, the spring water gushes out of the ground with rich minerals. According to Tibetan scriptures, this water can cure 424 infectious diseases and 360 acute and chronic diseases. It is the "nectar" given by Guru Padmasambhava to his believers and religious people to cure all diseases, so it is praised as the "Tibetan holy water". Every spring and autumn, tens of thousands of devout men and women will come here from far away to burn incense and worship Buddha, ask for "holy water" and drink "nectar". Many believers will take a lot of water with them when they leave for treatment, and some even give this water as a precious gift to relatives and friends.
