Beijing Taoyuan Fairy Valley Scenic Area is characterized by eco-tourism. The scenic area starts from the west bank of Miyun Reservoir in the east and reaches the top of the peak viewing platform in the west. It is 8 kilometers long and has a total area of 16 square kilometers. The scenic area has secluded valleys with dense forests, numerous pools and waterfalls, green peaks and emerald mountains, and a total area of 16 square kilometers. There are towering white poplars and fragrant wild grass under the waterfalls, especially one lake, six waterfalls and thirteen pools. In winter, there are wonders of ice and snow. The sky depicts the fairy world with eight peaks. You can see the sea of clouds, clear water and sky in the distance. More than 80 landscapes are embedded in it. Entering inside is like walking into a fairyland. How to get there:
By bus: Take bus No. 980 or 987 at Dongzhimen Long-distance Bus Station and get off at Miyun County Grand Theater Station, then transfer to a minibus to the scenic spot; or take a train from Xizhimen and get off at Shitang Road.
Self-driving: Beijing - Jingcheng Expressway - Miyun Toll Station - Miyun Reservoir - Taoyuan Fairy Valley.
