Scenic spot introduction:
Kongtong Mountain Scenic Area has been known as "the first mountain in the west", "the wonder of the west town" and "the most beautiful mountain in the world". It overlooks Xi'an in the east and Lanzhou in the west. It is a fortress on the ancient Silk Road westward from Guanzhong. It combines the natural landscape of unique dangers and exquisite cultural landscapes. The scenic area covers an area of 84 square kilometers. It is full of beautiful mountains and rivers, beautiful scenery, towering peaks, and lush forests; streams, clear springs, waterfalls, and pools are everywhere; rugged rocks and strange culverts can be seen everywhere; temples and Taoist temples are built on the peaks and cliffs, and incense is lingering in the shade of ancient pines and cypresses. It is a Taoist sacred mountain and a Buddhist resort.Throughout the ages, Kongtong Mountain has attracted many talented people. The Emperor Qin Shi Huang and Emperor Wu of Han followed the example of the Yellow Emperor and climbed Kongtong Mountain because they admired the Yellow Emperor and loved immortals. Sima Qian, Wang Fu, Du Fu, Bai Juyi, Zhao Shichun, Lin Zexu, Tan Sitong and other literati also left a large number of poems, chapters, steles and inscriptions. Kongtong martial arts is as famous as Shaolin, Wudang, Emei and Kunlun martial arts.

How to get there:
There are more than 4 buses from Xi'an to Pingliang every day, and about 6 buses from Lanzhou to Pingliang every day. Trains are also available.
After arriving in Pingliang, you can take bus No. 13 on Panxuan Road to Kongtong Mountain Passenger Transport Center, and then climb the mountain by yourself, or take a special bus to the mountain (20 yuan per person), or take a cable car from the dam bank of Tanzheng Lake in Qianshan to the mountain (50 yuan per person).
The cost of taking a taxi from the city to the scenic spot does not exceed 30 yuan.
