1. To appreciate the charm of Pingjiang Road, you need to walk slowly, and it is best to walk into the small shops on the roadside to appreciate them.
2. Visitors can find a teahouse with carved windows, drink tea and enjoy lazy time; they can also go to some stages or shops to listen to Pingtan or Kunqu opera and feel the charm of traditional folk art.
3. If you don’t find food that suits your taste on Pingjiang Road, you can go to Guanqian Street nearby, which is usually a 10-minute walk away. After tasting the special food, you can also buy some Suzhou specialties.
Tour route:
Pingjiang Road connects to the Humble Administrator's Garden in the north and overlooks the Twin Pagodas in the south. Visitors can plan one or two days to visit the ancient streets and historical sites.

How to get there:
Bus route: Take bus No. 301a, 301b, or 305 and get off at Pingjiang Road; or take Metro Line 1 to Xiangmen Station, and walk about 1,000 meters west after reaching the ground from Exit 3. After you see Pingjiang Experimental School, you will find the entrance sign for Pingjiang Road.
Self-driving route: Take the Suzhou exit of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway to Donghuan Road, turn right at Ganjiang East Road to Pingjiang Road; take the Suzhou exit of Sujiahang Expressway to Donghuan Road, turn left at Ganjiang East Road to Pingjiang Road.
