Zhongchuan Ancient Village Scenic Area is not only the hometown of earth buildings but also a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. It is located in Zhongchuan Village, Xiayang Town, Yongding County, Fujian Province, China. The whole village has a population of less than 3,000, but there are more than 20,000 overseas Chinese. It is an ancient village known as the hometown of overseas Chinese as a "family of civil and military families." Hu Wenhu, the famous "Taiwan Balm King" and leader of the overseas Chinese community, is from Zhongchuan Village. In Zhongchuan Village, there is the earth-building style "Hubao Villa" built by Hu Wenhu in 1946.
