Scenic spot introduction:

Bawang Temple Scenic Area was built to commemorate Xiang Yu, the overlord of Western Chu, who committed suicide in Wujiang River. It is an ancient temple with a long history. Every year, a large number of tourists come to visit the place where this famous allusion took place. The ancestral hall is located in Wujiang Town, which is also a treasure place mentioned in Liu Yuxi's "Inscription on the Humble Room". The scenery is naturally beautiful.

The pavilion in Bawang Temple houses the statues of Bawang, Yu Ji and other gods. Behind the pavilion, there is a stone shrine leading to the tomb area, with stone figures and animals on both sides. In front of Bawang's tomb is a stone tablet of the tomb of the Overlord of Western Chu, and next to it is the longest in Anhui. The underground tomb passage, Zhuma River, Wujiang Pavilion, Tou Shou Stone, etc. are all major attractions. In addition, there is also a monument garden in the temple, which contains many famous poems. The greening in the scenic area is very good, comparable to a city park.

How to get there:

Bus route: Take a bus from Hefei Bus Station to Hexian. Exit the station and walk 100 meters north to take the Hexian-Wujiang bus. The fare is 5 yuan to 7 yuan. Just tell the driver to get off at Bawang Temple.

Self-driving route: Starting from Hefei, along the Hefei Ring Expressway, Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway, and Nanjing Ring Expressway, exit from Wujiang/Jiangpu/S124 Exit and enter Gaowang Interchange, pass Shitang for about After 70 meters, turn slightly left toward Wujiang/Qiaolin and enter S124 to reach the scenic spot.
