Scenic spot introduction:

Changzhou Museum was founded in 1958. It is a comprehensive local museum integrating collection, research, display and exhibition. It has a collection of more than 20,000 cultural relics, including 51 national first-class cultural relics (one national treasure-level cultural relic), second-class cultural relics 240 items, including 103 national first- and second-level protected animal, plant and fossil specimens, including jades from the Liangzhu Culture period, primitive celadon from the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, lacquerware and porcelain from the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and calligraphy and paintings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The collection of cultural relics is exquisite.

Changzhou Museum The museum is divided into five floors. The first to third floors are exhibition areas, and the basement and fourth floor are warehouses and office areas. The main exhibitions in the museum are: Changzhou historical and cultural exhibition, Changzhou children's nature exhibition, Xie Zhiliu art Museum and Liu Guojun donated mahogany furniture for display.

Changzhou Museum ticket price:

The permanent exhibitions are free and open, and special (temporary) exhibitions are subject to a ticketed admission system. The ticket price for special exhibitions is 20 yuan. During the special exhibitions, various exhibitions were originally implemented for students, groups, the elderly, disabled people, active military personnel, retired cadres and other groups. The preferential policies will continue to be effective.

Scenic area opening hours:

Open daily from 9:00 to 17:00 (last entry at 16:00), closed on Mondays.
