Henan Museum is a modern history and art museum located in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province. It developed from the Henan Museum founded in Kaifeng in 1927. During its 70 years of development, it has changed its name to the Ethnographic Museum, the Provincial Museum, etc. , and moved from Kaifeng to Zhengzhou in 1961. In July 1997, the Henan Provincial Museum and the Zhongyuan Stone Carving Art Museum merged and were renamed Henan Museum.
