Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum is a non-profit cultural and educational institution dedicated to protecting, researching and displaying the historical and cultural heritage and human environmental evidence of Chongqing and the Three Gorges area. It was jointly built by the China Three Gorges Museum and the Chongqing Museum. Together with the Chongqing People's Auditorium and the west end of the People's Square, it forms a "trinity" of iconic urban buildings in the center of Chongqing.Attractions distribution:
The total land area of Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum is 2.93 hectares. The main structure is 157.3 meters long and 98.085 meters wide. The total building height above the ground is 25.2 meters. There are 5 floors in total, with a total construction area of 42,497 square meters. It is a Class I high-rise building, of which the underground floor is a cultural relic warehouse, garage, and equipment room, and the above-ground 4 floors are exhibition halls, lecture halls, and management auxiliary rooms. The exhibition in the museum consists of 4 basic exhibitions ( The Magnificent Three Gorges , "Back to Ancient Bayu" 、"Chongqing City Road" The Anti-Japanese War ), 6 special exhibitions ( Li Chuli donated cultural relics 》《 Paintings and Calligraphy 》《 Porcelain of various dynasties 》《 Sculpture Art of the Han Dynasty 》《 Southwestern ethnic customs 》《 Coins of various dynasties 》), a 360-degree full-circle film, a diorama display, a visitor practice center and three temporary exhibitions.Scenic spot qualifications:

Take bus No. 103, 104, 105, 112, 117, 122, 130, 132, 181, 215, 261, 262, 271, 338, 421, 810, 829, 862, 866, or 868 in Chongqing and get off at Three Gorges Pavilion.
Tickets
Ticket prices for the Three Gorges Museum:
Adult tickets are 40 yuan/person, adult group tickets are 30 yuan/person;
20 yuan per person for primary and secondary school students and minors, 10 yuan per person for primary and secondary school student groups;
Active military personnel, disabled revolutionary soldiers, retired cadres, and people over 70 years old are charged RMB 10 per person.
Scenic area opening hours:
Summer Solstice opening hours: 9:00–17:00 (no tickets accepted at 16:00);
Opening hours on Winter Solstice: 9:30–17:00 (no admission after 16:00).

Accommodation tips: Chongqing is full of various star-rated hotels, designated tourist hotels, inns and guest houses. Three-star and above hotels generally charge more than 300 yuan; one- and two-star hotels charge between 100 and 300 yuan; inns and guest houses generally charge between 20 and 200 yuan, and some even have large bunk beds that cost around 10 yuan.
