Wuxi Museum is a comprehensive local history and art museum. It is formed by the integration of the former Wuxi Revolutionary Exhibition Hall, Wuxi Museum and Wuxi Science and Technology Museum. It is currently the largest public cultural service facility in Wuxi.

Wuxi Museum is located in Taihu Square in Wuxi City, with a construction area of 71,000 square meters. It has two underground floors and five above-ground floors. The entire building adopts a modern all-steel frame structure with a heavy shape. It combines the spirituality of Wu’s water culture and embodies the design concept of "water light and stone color". It is a landmark building in Wuxi.
Wuxi Museum’s exhibition content is based on the construction goal of “first-class in China, leading in Jiangsu, and symbol of Wuxi”, and follows the design concept of “people-oriented, audience first”. It has a unified layout and forms four major sections: “cultural history, science and technology, film and television education, and special features”. It has 23 permanent exhibitions and has built the Xu Beihong Memorial Hall branch, which is currently the only one in the country to display Xu Beihong’s authentic works, the country’s largest science experience hall that displays integrated circuits, and the country’s first Virtual Western Art Museum , reflecting the regional cultural characteristics of Wuxi and highlighting the unique personality charm of Wuxi city. At the same time, in accordance with the requirements of the National Digital Museum, we have built a national leading digital cultural relics management and display system, and also built a world-leading special effects film and television theater (dome, 4D, Dynamic Cinema ) and an academic lecture hall with simultaneous interpretation in five languages. It is a multifunctional, comprehensive, modern large-scale museum that integrates education and guidance, viewing and entertainment, and participation and interaction.
