The Norwegian Maritime (Navigation) Museum (Norsk Maritimt Museum) is a thematic museum integrating maritime, culture and archaeology. It is the best place to learn about Norway's maritime history. The museum's red brick building and its own theme blend with the fjord's coastal scenery. The glass windows in the exhibition hall facing the ocean create a realistic feeling like sailing on the sea. The Maritime (Navigation) Museum is located on the Bygdøy peninsula in Oslo, opposite the famous Fram Museum. There are a total of 6 exhibition halls in the museum, including regular exhibitions, temporary exhibitions, a ship hall and a surround-screen movie screening hall, which are divided into marine culture, navigation history, archaeological discoveries and other contents. The museum has a very rich collection. Shipbuilding materials and engines from the first to fourth generations, models of cruise ships and cargo ships, early canoes and various ancient bow decorations are displayed one by one in the museum.
