Shaanxi Han Maoling Museum Travel Guide
Scenic spot introduction:
Maoling is the mausoleum of Liu Che, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. It is the largest mausoleum of Han Dynasty emperors, took the longest time to build, and has the richest burial objects. It is called the "Pyramid of China".Attractions distribution:
Han Maoling Mausoleum is located in Maoling Village, Nanwei Township, northeast of Xingping City (formerly Xingping County), 40 kilometers northwest of Xi'an City. The mausoleum was built between 139 BC and 87 BC and took 53 years to complete. In addition to the main tomb of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, There are more than 20 tombs surrounding the tomb of Mrs. Li of Han Dynasty, Wei Qing, Huo Qubing, Huo Guang, Jin Rixi and others. Among them, the stone carvings in front of Huo Qubing's tomb are the earliest, most complete, and most artistically valuable large-scale stone carvings discovered in my country. They are called "eternal masterpieces" by the Chinese and foreign sculpture aesthetic circles and are regarded as treasures of human art.Scenic spot qualifications:
