Scenic spot introduction:

The Bird's Nest (National Stadium) was the main stadium for the 29th Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. As a symbol of the rise of the Chinese nation in successfully hosting the Olympic Games, the "Bird's Nest" is located in the southern part of the central area of Beijing Olympic Park and on the east side of the northern end of Beijing's city axis. It has now become a symbol of modern China and the "New Beijing" and is a must-see for domestic and foreign tourists.
The stadium was designed by Jacques Herzog, De Meuron, Ai Weiwei and Li Xinggang, and constructed by Beijing Urban Construction Group. The stadium is like a "nest" and cradle for life, and it carries the hope of mankind for the future. The designers did not do any extra processing to the stadium, leaving the structure exposed, thus naturally forming the appearance of the building.
The National Stadium is used to host major international, regional and domestic events, as well as some non-traditional sports events, providing sports fans with an opportunity to experience fresh sports culture. In addition to sports events, other large-scale events and concerts are also held from time to time.

Attractions distribution:

The Bird's Nest (National Stadium) project covers a total area of 21 hectares, with a construction area of 258,000 square meters and about 91,000 seats for spectators. It was the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies, track and field competitions, and football finals of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. After the Games, the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) has become a landmark sports building and Olympic heritage as a large-scale professional venue for sports activities and entertainment performances in Beijing.
