Changchun Beihu Wetland Park combines the unique northern plant landscape characteristics and Changchun's natural water system. It can be called the "West Lake" of Changchun. Beihu makes up for the lack of water features in the new urban area in northern Changchun, turning Tiebei, the former "urban backyard", into an "urban living room" that Changchun people are proud of, and a new landscape for people to travel, sightsee and relax. Beihu Wetland Park is located in Longxi Village, Fenjin Township, only more than 10 kilometers away from Changchun North Railway Station. The park covers an area of 11.97 square kilometers. It is planned to have eight functional areas including lake center island, eco-tourism, ecological tidal flat zone, landscape residence, fashion culture and leisure, and film and television culture and leisure. It is planted with 51 varieties of willows and 186 varieties of trees. There are 144 varieties of shrubs, totaling more than 80,000 plants. The park has built many pavilions, arch bridges, sculptures and other small garden scenes, as well as water playgrounds, boat docks and other facilities, and rebuilt the Wanshou Temple, the first temple in Changchun's history. The park is very large, so hiking with children can be tiring. You can take a sightseeing car or rent an electric car. There is a full-time driver who can park the car at any time.

How to get there:
Bus route: Take bus No. 3a at People’s Square in downtown Changchun and get off at Beihu Park. You can also take the Beihu special bus at the north exit of Changchun Station. The first bus leaves at 7:10.
Self-driving route: Take Yatai Street → Second Ring Road → Yatai North Street → Longhu Road → Huanhu Road in Changchun City.
