Scenic spot introduction:

Century Park covers an area of ​​430,000 square meters and is located at the southern end of the green central axis of Chengyang District. It has functions such as plant viewing, famous flower display and plant science education. The park is based on the creative concept of "mountains surrounded by water", forming a natural landscape layout of "three mountains, one water, one lake, three islands and one beach." The `Three Mountains' are the Beishan on the north bank of the central lake, the West Mountain extending from the Beishan to the southwest, and the Nanshan on the south bank of the South Lake. The three mountains are gentle in shape, forming a distinct outline of the park around the lake. "One Water" refers to the Beixi Water with a total length of 700 meters, which twists and turns. "One Lake" refers to the guide lake, with its blue waves reflecting green and the lake's light shining. The "Three Islands" are located in the middle of the South Lake to separate the water surface and greatly enrich the water city landscape. `Yitan` refers to the large pebble beach with unique scenery.

The park has created 16 different plant ecological landscape gardens based on different landforms. They are: Pine and Cypress Garden, Autumn Garden, Leisure Garden, Man Garden, Maple Island, Elegant Bamboo Garden, Peach Blossom Island, Nostalgia Garden, Rock Garden, Lotus Bay, Peony Garden, Hundred Gardens, Wetland Forest, Camellia Garden, and Pomegranate Garden. They have very different styles, but they complement each other. Some of the trees in the park are two to three hundred years old. Among them, the Boutique Garden and the Hundred Gardens are the two major boutique landscape gardens in Century Park.
