Wuxi Liyuan Park Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

Lihu Lake, according to legend, was the place where Fan Li, a minister of the State of Yue, and Xi Shi, a beautiful lady, went boating in the Spring and Autumn Period. The lake was named after the man, and the garden was named after the lake. Liyuan Garden is one of the main attractions of the national key scenic spot "Taihu Lake", covering an area of 123 mu, of which about two-fifths is water area, and is known for its waterscape. The rockery in Liyuan Garden is stacked on the water and comes alive because of the water, showing the infinite interest of "rockery and real water".

Attractions distribution:

The whole garden is divided into: entrance landscape, towering rockery, South Bank Spring Dawn , the Long Corridor, and the Layered Waves and Shadows.
