Xiangxi Aizhai Bridge Travel Guide

Xiangxi Aizhai Bridge is a large suspension bridge that has created four world firsts. Its main span ranks third in the world and first in Asia. The bridge spans the Aizhai Grand Canyon. Not only is it extremely difficult to build, its height and the scenery under the bridge are also frightening. Since it was opened to traffic in 2012, the bridge has not only facilitated people's travel, but has also become a unique landscape in western Hunan, attracting tourists to stop and take photos.

Aizhai Bridge is located in the Baomao Expressway section of Aizhai Town, with a total length of 1,073.65 meters, a main span of 1,176 meters, and a height difference between the bridge deck and the ground of more than 300 meters. The bridge has four lanes and is an important exit of the Changsha-Chongqing Expressway in northwestern Hunan.
