Scenic spot introduction:
Qingdao Tianhou Palace is the oldest existing brick and wood structure complex of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in Qingdao. It was built in the third year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 500 years. In 1996, the Qingdao Municipal Government carried out a comprehensive restoration and turned it into the "Qingdao Folklore Museum", which was officially opened to the public on December 26, 1998. Tianhou Temple currently covers an area of nearly 4,000 square meters, with a construction area of 1,500 square meters. It is a two-entry courtyard. It has a main hall, auxiliary halls, front and rear hatchbacks, a theater tower, a bell and drum tower and ancillary buildings, totaling 16 buildings with more than 80 rooms. It is a typical ancient building complex with a national style. Except for the theater building, which is covered with glazed tiles, the other buildings are all made of plain walls, small gray tiles, and are decorated with Suzhou-style colorful paintings, carved beams and painted buildings, making them magnificent. Among the ancient buildings in the entire Qingdao area, its architectural art and painting art are second to none. Tianhou Temple is located at No. 19 Taiping Road, Qingdao City.Attractions distribution:
