The Lingering Garden is a famous classical garden in China. It is one of the four famous gardens in China, along with the Humble Administrator's Garden in Suzhou, the Summer Palace in Beijing, and the Mountain Resort in Chengde. It represents the style of the Qing Dynasty. Located in Suzhou, the Lingering Garden covers an area of 23,300 square meters. It is famous for its exquisite architectural art, grand and magnificent halls, varied courtyards, and Taihu stones. Guanyun Peak The most famous three wonders of the Lingering Garden are: Guanyun Peak , Nanmu Hall and the fish fossils inside the hall.

Accommodation: I recommend Suzhou Fu Sheng Four Seasons International Youth Hostel, which is currently the largest youth hostel in Suzhou. It takes only 5 minutes to walk from the hostel to Guanqian Street, Suzhou's commercial street, 10 minutes to the Net Master Garden, and 15 minutes to the Suzhou Garden Humble Administrator's Garden. The price is reasonable: 50-60 yuan/bed for a multi-person room; 190 yuan/day for a standard room

Food: Liuyuan Garden is very close to Shilu Commercial District, so you can choose to eat there.

Scenic spot activities: free "Wu Qi Lan Xun" performances are provided in the park during the peak season.

Tour route:

The first route: Enter the garden from the main gate, along the narrow corridor to Ancient trees intertwined , then follow Quxilou → West Building → Qingfeng Pool Pavilion → Comfortable place → Wufeng Xianguan → Yifengxuan → Linquan Elderly Hall → Pavilion of Good Sunshine, Happy Rain and Quick Snow → Another Village → Earth Hill ( To Leting ） → Shu Xiaoting → Lively → Another World→ Wen Muxiangxuan → Keting → Little Penglai → Hao Puting → Quxi Tower→ Ancient trees intertwined → Greenery → Hanbi Villa → Exit. This tour route is to visit the east first, then the north, west, and finally the central part.

Second: Enter the garden from the main gate, along the narrow corridor to Ancient trees intertwined , then follow the green shade → Hanbi Villa → Wen Muxiangxuan → Keting → Little Penglai → Hao Puting → Quxi Tower→ West Building → Qingfeng Pool Pavilion → Wufeng Xianguan → Yifengxuan → Linquan Elderly Hall → Daiyun Temple → Guanyun Pavilion → Guanyun Tower → Another Village → Earth Hill ( To Leting ） → Shu Xiaoting → Lively → Another World → Exit. This tour route is to visit the central part first, then the eastern, northern and western parts. If it is raining, you can follow the long corridor in the garden to enjoy the elegance of visiting the garden in the rain without getting your clothes wet.

(1) Driving route from Shanghai to Suzhou Liuyuan, or from Nanjing to Suzhou Liuyuan: Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway - Exit at Suzhou New District - Suzhou City Direction - West Ring Elevated Road - Exit at Jinmen Road - Turn left to Jinmen Road - Turn left to Tongjing North Road - Turn right to Liuyuan Road

(2) Self-driving route from Hangzhou to Suzhou Liuyuan: Take Sujiahang Expressway - Exit at Suzhou City South Exit - Turn to South Ring Elevated Road - Turn to West Ring Elevated Road - Exit at Ganjiang Road and Jinmen Road Intersection, turn to Ganjiang Road or Jinmenkou, go east to Tongbei Road, and then go north to Liuyuan Road.

(3) Driving route from Tiger Hill Scenic Area (South) to Suzhou Liuyuan Garden: Drive south along Huqiu Road to Tongjing North Road and turn onto Liuyuan Road.
