Scenic spot introduction:

The Ancient Buddha Cave in Lechang, Shaoguan got its name because the stalagmites and stalactites in the cave are shaped like immortals and Buddhas, and because predecessors once placed Buddha statues here to build Buddhist temples. In ancient times, it was listed as one of the top ten scenic spots in Lechang.

Attractions distribution:

Gufodongtian is located 5 kilometers south of Lechang City, Guangdong Province. It is a large karst cave formed by karst landforms. The temperature in the cave is kept at 19-20 degrees Celsius all year round. There are three layers overlapping up and down inside, with the highest point reaching 30 meters and a total area of more than 12,000 square meters. Ancient Buddha Hall , Guanyin Temple , Queen Mother Hall , Jade Emperor Palace, Journey to the West Palace, Xiaoyao Palace and Golden Dragon Hall There are seven palaces in the cave, with a total length of 570 meters. Along the way, there are various stalagmites, stone flowers, stone pillars, and stone curtains, either inserted in the cave or hung on it. The colors are colorful and the scenes are varied, which is a spectacular sight. In addition, there are 300 million-year-old submarine coral fossils and rare large stone brains in the cave, which are rarely seen and can be called a unique sight.

How to get there:
