The planned area of Yandi Shennong's Hometown Scenic Area is 3,000 acres. The area has clusters of mountains, crisscrossing ravines, lush trees, beautiful scenery, fresh air, and pleasant climate. It now has a nine-arch bridge, the Chinese Ancestor Gate, the Ancestor Square, the Shennong Statue, and the Yandi Shennong There are more than 20 cultural and natural landscapes including the Main Hall Memorial Hall, Shennong Cultural Square, Lieshan Gate, Shennong Monument, Shennong Tasting Herbs Statue, Shennong Temple, Gongde Hall, Wanfa Temple, Lieshan Lake, etc. Every year on the 26th of April in the lunar calendar, Shennong’s birthday celebration is held at the Yandi Shennong Cultural Square. How to get there:
Self-driving route
1. Departing from Wuhan: Hanshi Expressway, heading towards Shiyan, get off at the Hedian intersection, walk for 5 minutes and turn left to Lishan Tourist Line, Yandi Avenue (ring road), main entrance of the scenic spot .
2. Departing from the direction of Xiangfan and Shiyan: Hanshi Expressway, Junchuan Interchange, turn to Suiyue Expressway, exit at Lishan Ramp in Suixian County, turn left onto National Highway 316, the secondary entrance to the scenic spot.
3. Departing from Yichang: Hanyi Expressway, turn to Suiyue Expressway, go down to Lishan Mountain in Suixian County, turn left onto National Highway 316, walk for 10 minutes, turn to Yandi Avenue (ring road), and walk for 5 minutes to the main scenic spot Entrance.
Bus lines
1. From the direction of Suizhou Railway Station: Bus No. 11, Bus No. 3, get off at Lishan Yandi Shennong.
