Scenic spot introduction:

Chunqiu Village is the largest known ancient village in Xiangyang City and the second largest ancient village in Asia. It is also known as Qingyun Village and Luping Village. It is an outstanding representative of the world-famous Nanzhang ancient village group. Chunqiu Village was named after the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is said that Guan Yu had great ambitions to help the world, but suffered from the lack of a clear master. He studied the history book "Spring and Autumn" here and got its name. There is a Chunqiu Tower built in the village to commemorate Guan Gong. Shanzhai has a long humanistic history. It was formed in the Chu and Han Dynasties, prospered and perfected in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and experienced reconstruction and restoration in the past dynasties. It reflects the exquisite architectural art of the ancestors of the Chu region. It is ingeniously designed and pays attention to Feng Shui, "carrying the yin and embracing the yang". "Pillowing the mountain and surrounded by water", more than 150 stone houses were built on the ridge according to the mountain, row upon row, making it a spectacular sight.
