The Jialing River Source Scenic Area has a high forest coverage rate and many rare animals and plants. In the scenic area, there are towering peaks, alternating pools and waterfalls, unique natural landscapes, and numerous cultural and historical sites. The weather in the mountains is changeable, with hazy morning fog, vast sea of ​​clouds, sunrise and moonset, colorful lights, heavy snowfall in May, forest seas and snowfields, etc., all of which are the source of scenic spots. Located on the top of the Qinling Mountains in the southern suburbs of Baoji City, 33 kilometers away from the urban area, it is a national 3A-level scenic spot and a national forest park. It is also one of the first batch of key scenic spots to be developed in the Tiantai Mountain National Forest Park. It is named after it is the birthplace of the Jialing River.

In the Song Dynasty, Wu Jie and Wu Lin brothers fought against the Jin soldiers in the ancient battlefield of Monk Yuan and Daiwang Ridge.
