The Tomb of King Lanling in Handan is the tomb of the famous general Gao Changgong, and is one of the more famous among the Northern Dynasty tombs in Ci County. The owners of this tomb group all have prominent identities and positions. The elegant Northern Qi royal family and distinguished generals and ministers are all buried here. Among them, Lanling King Gao Changgong is the most legendary one. Gao Changgong (about 541-573), the fourth son of Emperor Shizong Wenxiang of the Northern Qi Dynasty, was brave and good at fighting. He once led 500 soldiers to fight a bloody path in the Northern Zhou army. He was a fierce general.Attractions distribution:
The Tomb of King Lanling is located 5 kilometers south of Cixian County and 60 kilometers away from Handan. The tomb area is dominated by the statue of King Lanling, ancient tombs and stele pavilions. It is surrounded by flower-through walls and planted with flowers, plants and trees. The entire scenic spot has a quiet environment and is a peaceful holy land. It is also a place of important historical cultural relics. How to get there:
Bus route: Tourists from all over the world can take the train to Handan, then transfer to the No. 802 bus or train to Ci County, and take a taxi to the scenic spot; or take a long-distance bus to Anyang at Handan Bus Station and get off at Liuzhuang. About 1.5 hours.
Self-driving route:
1. Beijing/Shijiazhuang direction: take Beijing-Shijiazhuang Expressway/Shi'an Expressway, exit from Linzhang/Cixian/S316 exit; follow Yingying Expressway Bin Avenue → Yingbin West Road → G107.
2. Direction to Zhengzhou: Take Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway → Shi'an Expressway, exit from Linzhang/Cixian/S316 Exit; just follow Yingbin Avenue → Yingbin West Road → G107.
