Hangzhou "Xiling Seal Society" is the earliest well-known national seal engraving society established in China. It is also the academic group with the longest history, highest achievements and widest influence in studying epigraphy and seal carving at home and abroad. Xiling Seal Society is located on the southwest side of Gushan in West Lake, Hangzhou. It consists of upper, middle and lower parts, each with its own characteristics. The cultural landscape and natural scenery complement each other, and the layout is extremely clever. The main buildings include Baitang, Bamboo Pavilion, Yangxian Pavilion, Huanpu Jinglu, etc., all of which are hung with plaques and couplets. There are many cliff-cut stones outside, and the ink marks of famous people can be seen everywhere. The museum also houses the Museum of Chinese Seal Studies, which has a collection of more than 6,000 pieces of calligraphy, painting and seals from past dynasties.
