Yichun Platform belongs to the Hongxing Volcano Geopark and has the reputation of being the first rime town in China. 1. The sunrise on the large platform is usually around seven o'clock in the morning. If it is foggy, you will not be able to see the sun until eight or nine o'clock. The best time to photograph the rime is between eight and nine o'clock. The rime starts to melt after the sun rises around ten o'clock in the morning, but it is also beautiful to photograph the falling rime.
2. It is recommended to choose a local heated bed when staying, which is much warmer than an electric blanket and allows you to feel the local customs.
3. Travelers entering the park during the fire prevention season must first go to the Hongxing District Fire Prevention Office to apply for a mountain entry permit, otherwise the park is not allowed to enter.
4. Every May is the time to enjoy azaleas, and from December to March of the following year, you can enjoy rime.

How to get there:
Bus route: Take a train from Harbin and other cities to Yichun Hongxing Town, get off and transfer to a bus to Dapingtao Township.
Self-driving route:
1. Depart from Yichun, drive along S204, pass the Fendou Alliance Farm and then turn onto Yanhe Road; take Yijia Highway → D007 to reach it.
2. Depart from Harbin, drive along the Heha Expressway, turn left into Shanzhen Road, and then turn into G222; drive along S204, pass the Fendou Alliance Farm and then turn into Yanhe Road; pass through Yijia Highway→ You can reach it after D007.
