Scenic spot introduction:
Dazhao Temple, the Chinese name is "Wuliang Temple". In Mongolian, it is called "Yikewei", which means "big temple". Built in the seventh year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1579), it was the first Lamaist temple built in Hohhot. For hundreds of years, it has been the activity center of Tibetan Buddhism in Inner Mongolia and one of the most famous Buddhist temples in northern China. It is located on Dazhaoqian Street, Yuquan District, Hohhot City.Attractions distribution:
Dazhao Temple covers an area of about 30,000 square meters. The temple faces north and south, and the main building layout is "Jialan Qitang style". Along the central axis, there are archways, mountain gates, Tianwang Hall, Bodhi Hall, Mahavira Hall, Sutra Library, East and West side halls, wing rooms and other buildings.
