Scenic spot introduction:

Zhaojun's Tomb in Hohhot, also known as the "Green Tomb", is located on the bank of the Dahei River 9 kilometers south of the Huqing Highway in Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia. It was first built in the Western Han Dynasty BC and has a long history of more than 2,000 years. The green tomb stands tall and majestic. Looking from a distance, it shows a charming scenery with hazy dark colors and splashes of thick ink. It has been historically known as Literati praised it as "Green Tomb Supporting Dai" and it is one of the eight scenic spots in Hohhot.
The tomb is shaped like an overturned bucket, with a height of 33 meters and a base area of about 13,000 square meters. It has a long history of more than 2,000 years and is one of the largest Han tombs in China. When you climb to the top of the tomb, you can see the continuous Yinshan Mountains running from east to west, and you can also enjoy the panoramic view of Hohhot City. Due to the pleasant scenery around the tomb and the reflection of the morning and sunset, the tomb scene changes from time to time. It is said that there are three changes in one day, "morning is like a peak, noon is like a bell, and evening is like a pine tree."
In Chinese history, Wang Zhaojun is a great woman who devoted herself to the cause of friendship between the Chinese nation. Among the common people, Zhaojun is the embodiment of beauty. For thousands of years, her legends and stories have been widely circulated among Chinese people and have become a household name. Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, literati in the past dynasties have sung Zhaojun and expressed their emotions in countless poems, lyrics, paintings, and operas, forming the "Zhaojun culture" that has been passed down through the ages.
