The ancient Qinhuang Post Road in Jingxing is known as the thoroughfare between Hebei and Jin Dynasties, and it was a battleground for military strategists of all ages. The Qinhuang Ancient Road connects Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi and Sichuan. The famous Battle of the End of the River, in which Han Xin defeated the greater number with a small number, and the Gengzi War against the Eight-Power Allied Forces all took place here. World Cultural Heritage Coordinating Officer Henry Clear commented "The ancient roads here are at least 100 years older than the Roman roads." The historical ruts that are more than a foot deep show the bustling scene of the bustling traffic here at that time. They are the only historical witness of "cars on the same track and books on the same text"; it is called a living fossil in the history of my country's postal stations.
