Jinzhou Dashi Lake Scenic Area, one of the birthplaces of the Taizi River system, is known as the "Five Lakes and Four Waterfalls". Dashi Lake is a species "gene bank" in western Liaoning, preserving a relatively complete coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest of North China's flora. It also has rare birds such as black storks, red-crowned cranes, swans, and mandarin ducks. Lush forests, good vegetation and biodiversity make Dashi Lake Scenic Area an ideal place for sightseeing, summer vacation, forest exploration and scientific investigation.Attractions distribution:
Dashi Lake is located in Nianpangou, 12 kilometers northeast of Waziyu Town, Yixian County. It is part of Lushan National Forest Park. Dashi Lake takes Feilong Waterfall as its iconic landscape, and is surrounded by Xianwengguan Waterfall, Dragon King Temple, Gaoxia Pinghu, Phoenix Stone, Forest Bathing Beach, Crouching Tiger Ridge, etc. Not far from the mountain gate, there is a large-scale temple - Shuanglong Zen Temple, which has the Tianwang Hall, the Main Hall, the Three Western Sacred Temples, etc. There is also a holy water well in the courtyard, and there is a good story.Scenic spot features:

Although the waterfalls are quite spectacular during the high water season in summer, the ice waterfalls formed in winter are crystal clear and beautiful, and have a special flavor.
After the Dragon King Temple, you can follow the signs to climb to the top of the lake, but the mountain road is relatively steep. Tourists with mountaineering experience or good physical strength are recommended to climb.

How to get there:
Bus route: You can take a bus to Yixian at Shenyang Bus Station, and then take a taxi or change to a local car.
Self-driving route: Leave the Fujin Expressway from the Qinghemen exit or the Dashi/Zheng'an/Dashi Interchange exit, and drive along S304 → X710/X713 to Nianpangou.
