Scenic spot introduction:

The ancient city of Khiva, an oasis like in Alibaba's fairy tale, is known as the "Pearl of Central Asia" and the "Land of the Sun". This small town at the junction of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan has an endless history. Mosques, mausoleums, and religious schools all seem to be storytellers. They also form a group of neatly structured, exquisitely designed, and decorated buildings. The exquisite architectural complex makes the entire Khiva a huge architectural heritage protection zone. It is also the only city in northern Asia whose entire city has been designated as a cultural relic. Although time has passed and the local architecture has become increasingly fragile, it still cannot conceal the charming charm exuded by the ancient city. As the old proverb goes: "I would give a bag of gold, but just to have a look at Khiva."

Attractions distribution:

Khiva is located west of the Amu Darya River in the Khwarizm region, about an hour's drive from Urgench, the capital of the region. Khiva is divided into two parts: Itchen-Kala and Dishan-Kala. The main attractions are mostly concentrated in the inner city of Itchen, which is the core part, such as the Khan's Palace (Kuhna Ark), which is the essence of wood carving and mosaic art, as well as its minaret and mausoleum. , the oldest all-wooden structure in Central Asia, the Jama Mosque (Juma Masjid), and the tallest building in the ancient city, the Islam Khoja Minaret. Climbing up the ancient city walls and castles, you can have an unobstructed view of the entire Khiva, which is mysterious and beautiful.
