The Jeonju National Museum of South Korea is a place for studying, preserving, and displaying the cultural heritage of the Jeollabuk-do region. There are more than 24,000 cultural relics in the museum, mainly cultural relics unearthed from the Jeollabuk-do area from the prehistoric era and the Mahahan-Baekje period. In addition, there are Buddhist art works, ceramics, metals, handicrafts, folklore materials, etc., and more than 1,100 of them can be seen in the permanent exhibition hall.

How to get there:

Bus route: From Jeonju Station, take buses 118, 45, 511, 515, 551 (regular), 551 (seat), 552, and 60 bound for the Statistics Office and Samsan-ri, and get off at the museum.

Driving route: From Jeonju IC, pass through National Highway 1 and drive about 10km towards Jeongeup.
